The campus of BS International School, Electronics City Phase 1, resonated with devotion, joy, and togetherness as the entire school community came together to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The festival, which marks the birth of Lord Krishna, was observed with great enthusiasm, cultural richness, and educational depth, especially by our youngest learners.
Our adorable Montessori children truly stole the show. Dressed as little Lord Krishnas and Gopikas, they looked ethereal in traditional attire — yellow and blue dhotis, peacocks-feather crowns, colourful lehengas, and delicate jewellery. Their innocent smiles and cheerful energy perfectly captured the playful and divine spirit of young Krishna. The children proudly posed against beautifully decorated backdrops featuring vibrant peacocks, hanging flower garlands, matkas, and traditional motifs, creating a festive atmosphere that reflected the essence of Vrindavan.
A special assembly was organised to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna. The programme included engaging presentations, soulful bhajans, storytelling sessions, and interactive activities that helped students understand the significance of the festival. Through these thoughtfully planned experiences, the children not only celebrated the occasion but also imbibed the timeless values that Lord Krishna represents — love, kindness, courage, wisdom, and righteousness.
The day was filled with fun-filled activities and vibrant performances. Students participated with great enthusiasm, making the celebration both joyful and meaningful. Teachers guided the young learners to connect the stories of Krishna with important life lessons, turning the festival into a rich learning experience rather than just a cultural event.
The spirit of togetherness was evident everywhere. Parents, teachers, and students shared moments of laughter, devotion, and pride as the little ones performed and celebrated. The entire event reflected BSIS’s commitment to holistic education — where cultural traditions are celebrated with joy while instilling strong moral values in children from a young age.

It was truly a day of devotion, learning, laughter, and little Krishna magic — one that left lasting memories in the hearts of everyone present.
