Our school, BS International School, recently hosted an exhilarating football match in Electronic City that brought together the spirit of competition and the joy of teamwork among our students from grades 6, 7, and 8 under the guidance of our Sports Manager, Mr. Santhosh. The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and excitement as teams battled it out on the field, showcasing their skills and determination.
The champions of this thrilling match are none other than Team Rhinos, led by the charismatic Captain Adeeb. This dynamic team, consisting of Pranav, Islam, Punith, and Sai, displayed exceptional teamwork and strategy, dominating the field with their impressive plays. Their hard work and dedication paid off, earning them the coveted title of champions. Congratulations to the Rhinos for their outstanding achievement and for setting a high standard for future matches!
Not to be overlooked, the runner-up of the tournament, Team Dinosaurs, captained by the talented Muthu, put up a fierce fight. With team members Soham, Mujazeeb, Anish, and Roshan, they showcased remarkable resilience and skill, securing a well-deserved second place. Their determination and sportsmanship were truly commendable, and we applaud their efforts!
Claiming the third spot in this exciting tournament was Team Warriors, under the leadership of Junaid. This spirited team, which includes Agosh, Sathvik, Aariz, and Ishtarth, demonstrated great teamwork and tenacity throughout the match. Their performance was impressive, and they should be proud of their achievement. Congratulations to the Warriors for their commendable effort!
In addition to the team accolades, individual players shone brightly during the tournament. The top goal scorer, Sangeeth, dazzled everyone with his incredible skills and precision in front of the goal, making him a standout player of the match. His ability to find the back of the net was truly remarkable!
Furthermore, Sparch was honored as the Player of the Tournament, a well-deserved recognition for his exceptional contributions and leadership on the field. His passion and commitment to the game inspired his teammates and left a lasting impression on everyone present.
Last but certainly not least, Jazib earned the title of Best Goalkeeper for his phenomenal saves and defensive prowess. His agility and quick reflexes were crucial in keeping the opposing teams at bay, and he played a vital role in his team's success.
The event was made even more special by the presence of our Executive Director, Mr. Kallesha, Principal Mrs. Padmaja, and our GNM, Dr. Jayaprakash, who graciously felicitated the students with awards. Their support and encouragement added to the celebratory atmosphere, inspiring our young athletes to continue striving for excellence.
